This Morning

I’ve always been a huge fan of This Morning since Richard and Judy started the show from Liverpool’s Albert Dock in 1988 so naturally I’m thrilled to now be presenting ITV1’s flagship daytime programme. It’s my dream job and sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m actually working!

I co-host the show every Friday with my real life partner Eamonn Holmes and we keep the sofa warm whenever Phillip and Holly are on holiday. It’s interesting, to say the least, working with your real life partner and it has been known for our private bickering to spill over onto the screen – but hey, that’s real life and people seem to relate to it! Mostly we love working together and we laugh a lot – Eamonn is the funniest man I know, off and on, the screen. 

It’s exciting working on a live show - no two days are the same and you can never be sure what might happen! We get to meet some fantastic people with incredible personal stories to

 

 

tell  and of course there are the “celebrities” – actors, actresses, pop stars and people in the news.
