About me

Ten things you didn't know about me......

1) I started my TV career with my hand up a rabbits bottom! I operated West Country Television's  legendary children's birthday puppet Gus Honeybun.

2) I was born in Singapore. Child of an army family I lived in five different countries before the age of 10 - ranging from Germany to North Africa.

3) I love my sewing machine and I have an O'Level in needlework.

4) I used to make Fern Britton's tea when I was a junior at West Country TV.

5) Since I bought my first flat aged 20 I've been a keen DIYer and have my own toolbox which I update.  My favourite tool is the High Torque screw driver set!

6) I'm claustrophobic.

7) Although I suffer badly from sea sickness, I managed to pass my RYA Competent Crew Certificate.

8) Before moving to London I had an allotment in Devon. My runner beans were legendary!

9) My childhood family holidays were spent traveling in a camper van.

10) I now wear glasses all the time on This Morning!
